TAD EL84S STR Blackplate Premium

The EL84S STR Blackplate Premium from TAD belongs to the brand's new Blackplate line. These tubes have a special treatment on the plates that give them the characteristic dark color. With this, a better dissipation is obtained, which translates into greater stability at high temperatures and duration of the tube. As for the tonality, we can talk about a detailed and three-dimensional tone. The voices are alive and present. Good choice for both HiFi and guitar.

Due to its diameter of 22.5mm, the TAD EL84S-STR does not fit into older Marshall DSL401 and UK made VOX AC15 TBX amplifiers.
