SOVTEK 6550WE matched pair.

The Sovtek 6550 WE is a tube with good response in defined bass and treble. Similar to the KT88 tube, so it can be replaced without problem with a proper bias readjustment. The plate dissipation of this tube is 42W, and it can deliver up to 50W of output per tube in Push-Pull configurations.The screen grid is sometimes tied to the anode so that it becomes effectively a triode with a lower maximum power output, but considered by some people to have superior sonic quality.
