The BMP180 barometric pressure sensor allows you to measure height with respect to sea level. Its operation is based on the relationship between air pressure and altitude. The BMP180 is the replacement of BMP085, it has high precision and low power consumption. It offers a measurement range from 300 to 1100 hPa, with an absolute precision of up to 0.03 hPa. Based on BOSCH piezo resistive technology with EMC robustness, high precision and linearity, as well as long term stability. Designed to be connected directly to a microcontroller via I2C using only 2 lines. This type of sensors can be used to calculate altitude with great precision, which is why it is a widely used sensor in Autopilot systems for Drones (UAVs).
